Summer Holiday Club
Summer Holiday Club at the Lanthorn
The parish is running a holiday club from August 8th - 12th, on the theme "Ready Steady Grow". Enrollment can be done on line on our youth website, or forms are available adn can be handed in at the Lanthorn. We will also be supporting the community day on the 13th, and there will be themes carried through into Sunday morning worship on the 14th.
The next steps
Groups forming to explore the way ahead
Earlier this year Parish Council determined that we should move towards being a church meeting for Sunday worship in one place, instead of the current six worship centres. Now there are groups forming to explore the implications of this decision. One will be involved in listening and consultation and how we care pastorally for everyone. The second will be looking at developing worship and mission, looking outwards to what is going on in other places. The third will research the practicalities of buildings, and what changes in organization and constitution will be needed. If you are interested in sharing in this journey of discovery, please talk to one of the ministers for more information.
July 17th Parish Wide service
Holidays and Holy-days
This Sunday, July 17th, we worship together at Carmondean at 10.45 a.m. Many people are on holiday. A group from the parish will be staying on Iona. In church we'll think about holidays - would there be an ideal holiday for the children of God? Worship led by Ron and Robin
